Many people are looking for inexpensive and natural ways to properly care for their skin. This is because most of these options work well and are inexpensive, they are also great for our bodies and all round health. We would like to let you know 5 simple skin care tips, that you can put into action as soon as possible and be on your way to obtaining improved skin, health and beauty.
1. Water – The body needs water, and demands water. You should consume a minimum of 64 ounces of water every day. This will help you preserve a healthy and balanced bodyweight and give your body the water it needs to process your food and release toxins. The amounts people need to drink, also depends on their own bodies consumption. The best water to drink is 100% pure, uncontaminated water, without added sugary or sweetened flavours. The best way to get this is with either bottled water or by placing a filter on your water source. In most places the water that comes out of the tap is not totally pure and can contain many chemical compounds and agents, that in themselves can become toxic for your body.
2. Nutrients – You should consume as much fruit and vegetable as possible. These food items are extremely high in the vitamins and minerals you require to build strong hair and fingernails and keep your skin healthy. They are best in their natural form, so raw, or steamed. It is best not to fry or over boil them. It might also be very prudent to take a daily multivitamin pill to supercharge your diet of all the nutrients you need. You should also contemplate trying organic and natural skin care products and makeup. They are vibrant nutritionally rich ingredients such as Coenzyme Q10, Jojoba Oil, coconut and olive oil, Phytessence Wakame, a Japanese sea kelp. You should be able to discover many of these natural products at your nearby whole foods supermarket or health food retail stores.
3. Exercise – Training is a great way to boost your skin. It allows you to get your bloodstream moving and keeps your epidermis tighter for a longer time. Exercise can also be an outstanding anxiety reliever, which can help with stress, see tip 4. Also you can either join a gym, or pay for a personal trainer. Or you could save money, do exercises at home or in the park, jogging, stretching, following a DVD for example.
4. Stress – Stress can cause many health issues and it can also be harmful to your skin. It can make you appear and feel significantly older than you actually are. Conditions such as like eczema and psoriasis and acne, can also appear on your skin, when you are stressed, and diminish your looking naturally healthy. There are many different ways to relieve stress. You can apply yoga, meditation or take short breaks in the course of the day. You have to find what works for you personally. Personally, exercise is my stress reliever. There is certainly next to nothing like burning off some anger and calories all at the same time.
5. Avoid excessive amounts of alcohol and caffeine – Both alcohol and caffeine are stimulants and can be harmful to your skin. Naturally, they both equally dehydrate your body and deplete your skin of the water and nutrients it needs to remain smooth and supple. If you drink large amounts of caffeine and alcohol, you might experience excessively dried out skin. This does not necessarily mean you need to avoid having a cup of coffee every day or wine with your evening meal. You should, however, avoid drinking an entire pot of coffee and bottle of wine throughout the day. So back to drinking a lot of water, to flush out the toxins, and perhaps having a spa treatment.
Natural skin care is basically about changing parts of your everyday routine. It is all achievable with some drive and perseverance.
