YogaBirth: Empowering Women in Childbirth

Gentle Yoga. Childbirth Education. Parent-Baby Consciousness.
Calm Mom, Blissful Birth.
Empower your body, mind and soul for the birth of your baby.

Pregnancy is a unique and special developmental time.

YogaBirth is an 8 week, 16 session journey designed to empower you with current childbirth education, and help you feel relaxed and in control of the most memorable part of your life: pregnancy and childbirth.

Studies show that babies “remember” their time in the womb, showing preference to the voices, music and stories they were introduced to in the prenatal period.

Your reactions to stress and joy create chemical reactions that affect your baby’s developing brain.
YogaBirth is Childbirth Empowerment:

-Prenatal nutrition and exercise

-Common pregnancy complaints and holistic modalities

-Fetal Development and optimal fetal positioning

-Baby Love Breaks: A regular practice of “checking in” with baby, to communicate and grow an emotionally happy baby in the first 9 months.

-Belly mapping and birth art

-Physiology of birth and the stages of labor

-Coping mechanisms during labor and birth, pain management, breathing and relaxation, positions, vocalization, etc.

-Creating a flexible and realistic “birth plan;" standard medical interventions, labor induction and augmentation; Caesarean prevention.

-Newborn care and breastfeeding basics

-The physical, psychological and emotional aspects of the postpartum period, mood disorders, sexuality and baby care decisions

YogaBirth is Prenatal Yoga:

When you feel relaxed, you encourage the emotional health of your developing baby. YogaBirth Prenatal Yoga classes explore the relationship between your relaxation and your baby's developing brain, with poses designed to create a burst of oxytocin, filling you both with “love hormone.”

Beth’s personal review on STA-SOF-FRO CARROT OIL LOTION http://ping.fm/zmtsj

Social Good Campaign on Facebook

The smell of this lotion is so fresh (and yes well grated carrot like). It rubs into the skin so easily and smoothly and can be used on the face and then all over the body after a bath or shower. It also contains vitamin E and a sunscreen.

This is a product I will be using over the summer. Mmmm Currently in the UK, it can only be purchased in Afro-Caribbean beauty outlets but excellent for all.

Don’t Overdo It

Don’t do too much and become overwhelmed. Trying to maintain two jobs at one time can become very stressful, if you allow it. Now would be the best time to learn impeccable time management skills. If you are trying to start a new home business in your spare time at home, now is not the time to bring work home from your first job. Figure out how you can manage your time better on your day job so that it does not affect what you are doing at home. Find a way for your two worlds to balance without the added stress.

Envision the Future

How to Stay Positive While Starting Your Home Business

Starting a home business is a very exciting challenge for anyone who wants to be their own boss. Sometimes you just have to step out on your own and have faith within your own abilities. Have confidence in yourself and this will not be as daunting as you imagined.
If you plan to take your creative skills to the next level, then do just that. However, you will need to learn everything that you can in order to perfect your craft. Take classes at your local community college, if you feel that you don’t have the skills necessary to move on to the next level. Since, you already have a job, now would be the time to spend the extra money and get training that will help you with starting a home business. In addition, to formal education, brush up on what it will take to successfully run a home business.

In order to stay on track, create a plan. Presently, there are plenty of ideas roaming around in your head. Every day you have the urge to go off into different directions to get your business up and running. It’s good to have great ideas, but don’t become overwhelmed with all of your new ideas. Remain focused. Sit down and plan what needs to be done. Sure, you have one ultimate long term goal of starting a home business, but it may not seem like a daunting project if you create smaller projects for each step of the way. For example, plan what you want to accomplish for this week only. Get that done and then create a productive plan for the next week.

Now is not the time to exclude your family. Inform them of your ultimate goal of starting a home business. In order for you to be successful, each member of your household must be respectful of what you are trying to accomplish. Explain to everyone what you are trying to do. Family support will do wonders for your spirit.

When you get bogged down and feel like you just can’t do it anymore, just envision your future. Think about how you are starting a home business and how important this is to you. Imagine the pride you will feel knowing that one day you will be your own boss and make your own decisions. If that does not do it, then think about how thankful you are to have the skills and motivation for starting a home business. Others will be both envious and proud of you.
